Intubation

For the crucial skill of intubation it is important to train with the best models possible that accurately simulate a real patient and situation. For this ESP have manufactured neonatal, infant, child and adult training models. Except for the neonatal version all models feature landmarks including uvula, vocal cords, glottis, epiglottis, larynx, arytenoid cartilage, trachea, esophagus, and inflatable lungs and stomach. In addition to the features supported by the paediatric models, the adult torso also supports anatomical landmarks including sternum and ribcage plus substernal notch and teeth. These ingenious designs benefit trainees in learning how to insert the laryngoscope at the correct depth and angle.
